While we recognize that CityGroup's aren't for everyone immediately, we believe that every follower of Christ is to cultivate relationships iwith other Christ followers in their local church to mature.

CityGroup's are in essence “simple churches” hosted in homes throughout the city with people who together embrace Biblical community. Perhaps you have experienced various forms of the word “community.” We believe Biblical community when embraced together is the richest form of community available on earth.

Entering into a CityGroup marks a willingness to focus your life in sustainable relationships within Indy Metro Church. Jesus never intended for us to go at life by ourselves. He had his close followers to live life with, and provided a great example for us as well. He came to show us the way to a full life, and we believe this is a life that involved our commitment to each other in community.

THE CITYGROUP CYCLE: Learn-Play-Serve
This is the cycle that each IMC CityGroup participates in. For each group to grow together to the depth the Lord desires we believe the monthly calendar must include these three elements of growing.

Learn: This is critical element of Biblical study and learning. Each small group will come together 2-3 times in a month to engage God’s Word together.

Play: This is the element of fellowship, fun, and where friendships are deepened through laughter and celebrating life together.

Serve: This is the element of serving the community together. Each month your group will come together to serve others and be Jesus in the community.
